TfL Announce Failed Line Speed Experiments
TfL have announced that experiments to tweak the speed of the Bond St. to Fleet St. rail line failed, and that they will no longer be pursuing the affair.
“Our goal was to slow the carriage down when it entered the underwater section and speed it back up”, however, due to ‘cross-talk in the signaling protocol’, this has not materialised.
TfL have no plans to pursue this further.
