Luton Airport was forced to shut down as a result of a bomb that was detonated at the front entrance. An unknown assailant placed a bomb on the ground and ignitaed it, running away. He has thus far evaded the police capture. Luton claim the airport will shut for “several weeks” as a result of this event. While there were no deaths or serious injuries, the financial impact is significant as Londinium is airport-less now.
The Government made a statement:
We do not believe this event to be a terrorist attack. We have reason to believe this was targeted at Luton Corp and not the KUJ.
The question on the public’s mind is whether this is the result of growing dissatisfaction with Luton.
Apologia
We had to release this extra bulletin as our news backlog would otherwise have made this story come out on the 21st and not today. We also apologise for printing errors that falsely called this paper the “Rainbow Times”. We cannot correct the issue today and we have had to pull tomorrow’s issue and rewrite it in order to correct the problem.
