Luton Airport Blown Up By Suicide Bombers

Yesterday, at approximately one PM, an unidentified aircraft dropped a large quantity of TNT onto the roof of Luton Airport. The aircraft then crashed into the airport, igniting the TNT. The resulting blast caused the roof to give, and caused minor damage to the nearby IMAX. Thankfully, nobody was inside the building as no departures were being processed and only private aircraft could land. Both establishments have shut down.

Luton Corporation made the following statement:

“We have no way to finance a repair of the building. As such, the airport will not be reopening any time soon, unless the situation changes suddenly.”

The site of the airport is zoned as a runway and as such, it is also unlikely a sale would occur, unless the land was zoned for commercial or residential property. After all, who would want to build such a small airport again?

A minute of silence was held today at 1300 hours.
