National Archives Project ‘Delayed Indefinitely’
The National Archives has officially been postponed indefinitely, according to a government report.
Citing ‘difficulties in terraforming the assigned plot’, the project is now ‘working with the government to select a more appropriate plot for the building’. This is bad news for archivists and the general public alike, as this means that irreversible loss of potentially archived material could occur in the time it takes for the project to restart.
