Projekt International, a Cypress-based company specialising in building design and construction, breached its contract with the KUJ government on the 18th of June 2025 when it failed to complete the renovation in time. The government announced its intentions to sue the company, who responded by attempting to hire a lawyer specialising in contract law.
This morning, the case was settled out of court for an undisclosed sum. Projekt signed a new contract to complete the renovation, and the lawsuit has been dropped. A government spokesperson had this to say:
“We have settled the matter and both parties are satisfied with the end result. The government gets its building and Projekt gets the time and money they need.”
When probed for any price figures relating to the project, the spokesperson deflected our questions.
