The newly passed Building Numbers Act mandates buildings be numbered according to the European style, with odd-numbered houses on the left and even-numbered ones on the right. The Act also includes a clause permitting the Londinium Times to use a red shulker mailbox, meaning last issue’s question has been answered with a resounding yes, there is a clause just for us.
The Government has also passed a Street Renumbering Ordnance that applies in six days’ time. On the 30th of April, all houses on Bond Street, Fleet Street, and Piccadilly circus will be renumbered according to the Act. If you live or work on those streets, keep an eye out for any changes.
